At Elegance Models, we strive to provide exceptional service to both our models and clients. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds related to our various services, including model bookings, portfolio development services, training programs, and other professional services.
Please read this policy carefully to understand our refund procedures. By engaging our services or making payments to Elegance Models, you agree to be bound by this Refund Policy.
1. Client Booking Refunds
This section applies to clients who book models through Elegance Models for photoshoots, runway shows, promotional events, or other professional engagements.
1.1 Booking Deposits
Booking deposits secure a model's time and availability for your project and are subject to the following refund terms:
- Cancellation with more than 7 days' notice: Full refund of the deposit minus a 10% administrative fee
- Cancellation with 3-7 days' notice: 50% refund of the deposit
- Cancellation with less than 3 days' notice: No refund of the deposit
1.2 Full Booking Payments
For bookings where full payment has been made in advance:
- Cancellation with more than 14 days' notice: Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee
- Cancellation with 7-14 days' notice: 75% refund
- Cancellation with 3-7 days' notice: 50% refund
- Cancellation with less than 3 days' notice: No refund
1.3 Special Circumstances
We understand that special circumstances may arise that necessitate cancellation:
- Model unavailability: If the specific model booked becomes unavailable, we will offer a suitable replacement model or provide a full refund at your discretion
- Severe weather or natural disasters: Bookings canceled due to severe weather conditions or natural disasters may be rescheduled or refunded at our discretion
- Force majeure events: In cases of events beyond reasonable control (such as acts of government, public health emergencies, etc.), we will work with clients on a case-by-case basis regarding refunds or rescheduling
2. Portfolio Development Services
This section applies to models or aspiring models who purchase portfolio development packages, including professional photoshoots, comp card creation, and portfolio review services.
2.1 Photography Session Deposits
Deposits for portfolio photoshoots are subject to the following refund terms:
- Cancellation with more than 7 days' notice: Full refund of the deposit minus a 15% administrative fee
- Cancellation with 3-7 days' notice: 50% refund of the deposit
- Cancellation with less than 3 days' notice: No refund of the deposit
Rescheduling a portfolio photography session is permitted once without penalty if requested at least 48 hours in advance.
2.2 Full Portfolio Package Payments
For complete portfolio development packages:
- Cancellation before any services are rendered: 85% refund (15% administrative fee applies)
- Cancellation after initial consultation but before photoshoot: 70% refund
- Cancellation after photoshoot but before final editing: 40% refund
- Cancellation after final images are delivered: No refund
2.3 Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of our portfolio development services:
- If you are dissatisfied with the quality of your portfolio photoshoot, you must notify us within 7 days of receiving the final images
- We will first attempt to address your concerns through additional editing or a reshoot at no extra cost
- If we cannot resolve the issues to your reasonable satisfaction, a partial refund may be issued at our discretion
3. Training Programs and Workshops
This section applies to modeling workshops, training sessions, and educational programs offered by Elegance Models.
3.1 Workshop Registration Fees
Refunds for workshop and training program registrations are subject to the following terms:
- Cancellation with more than 14 days' notice: Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee
- Cancellation with 7-14 days' notice: 70% refund
- Cancellation with 3-7 days' notice: 50% refund
- Cancellation with less than 3 days' notice: No refund
3.2 Transferability
If you are unable to attend a workshop or training program, you may:
- Transfer your registration to another eligible individual at no additional cost
- Transfer your registration to a future workshop date (subject to availability) for a 15% administrative fee
Registration transfers must be requested at least 48 hours before the scheduled workshop or training program.
3.3 Workshop Cancellation by Elegance Models
If Elegance Models cancels a workshop or training program:
- Registered participants will receive a full refund
- Alternatively, participants may choose to transfer their registration to a future workshop date at no additional cost
4. Model Representation Services
This section applies to models who have signed representation agreements with Elegance Models and have paid any applicable representation fees.
4.1 Initial Registration Fees
Any initial registration or representation fees are subject to the following refund terms:
- Cancellation within 48 hours of signing the representation agreement: Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee
- Cancellation after 48 hours but within 7 days of signing: 50% refund
- Cancellation after 7 days of signing: No refund
4.2 Ongoing Representation Fees
For any recurring representation fees or commissions:
- Commissions on completed bookings are non-refundable
- If representation is terminated by either party, no refund will be provided for services already rendered
- Any prepaid fees for future periods that have not yet commenced may be refunded on a prorated basis, minus an administrative fee
5. Digital Products and Services
This section applies to digital products, online resources, or virtual consultations purchased through Elegance Models.
5.1 Digital Downloads
Due to the nature of digital products:
- All sales of digital downloads are final and non-refundable once the download link has been accessed
- If you have not accessed or downloaded the digital product, you may request a refund within 24 hours of purchase
5.2 Online Consultations
For virtual consultation services:
- Cancellation with more than 48 hours' notice: Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee
- Cancellation with 24-48 hours' notice: 50% refund
- Cancellation with less than 24 hours' notice: No refund
- Consultations may be rescheduled once without penalty if requested at least 24 hours in advance
6. Refund Process and Procedures
6.1 Requesting a Refund
To request a refund, you must:
- Submit your refund request in writing to [email protected]
- Include your full name, service or product purchased, date of purchase, and reason for requesting a refund
- Provide proof of purchase (receipt, invoice number, or payment confirmation)
6.2 Refund Processing
Upon receiving your refund request:
- We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 2 business days
- Refund requests will be processed within 10 business days
- Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method whenever possible
- If the original payment method is unavailable, we will work with you to arrange an alternative refund method
6.3 Currency and Processing Fees
Please note the following regarding refund amounts:
- Refunds will be issued in the same currency as the original payment
- Any currency conversion fees or fluctuations are the responsibility of the customer
- Payment processor fees (such as PayPal or credit card processing fees) are generally non-refundable
7. Exceptions and Special Circumstances
7.1 Promotional Discounts and Special Offers
Services or products purchased using promotional discounts or special offers may have different refund terms, which will be specified at the time of purchase.
7.2 Extended Illness or Medical Emergency
In cases of extended illness or medical emergency:
- Provide documentation from a licensed medical professional
- We may offer more flexible refund terms or rescheduling options at our discretion
7.3 Technical Failures
If technical failures on our part prevent you from accessing or using a purchased service:
- We will first attempt to resolve the technical issue
- If the issue cannot be resolved, a full refund will be issued
8. No-Show Policy
If you fail to attend a scheduled service (photoshoot, consultation, workshop, etc.) without prior notice:
- The service will be considered rendered
- No refund will be issued
- Rescheduling will be at our discretion and may incur additional fees
9. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated policy on our website. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Refund Policy.
